Where: BioHue Studio, 794 Chamberlain St., Placerville, CA When: 11-3 each day, Nov 2-4th Scour and Mordant Friday 1-3pm Mordant stations will be provided for protein and cellulose fibers. Instructions given, fibers labeled then the appropriate mordant applied. There is outdoor space for you to leave fibers to dry overnight. For best results mordant ahead of Sunday dye fest. I recommend mordanting a day or two before dyeing to insure optimal color saturation with most natural dyes. $10. Indigo Saturday 11-3 Introduction and demonstration. Bring pre-washed fiber to dye. 3 techniques offered: Clamp and resist dyeing, shibori (stitching, tie dyeing)...
